Terms of Use

Bolo Gujarati (the "app") is operated by Panaraim Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). These terms of use govern your access to and use of the app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Accounts are held by an adult. You must be at least 18 years old to register. You are responsible for keeping your email address and password secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Please give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe contain false information or are being misused.

Child profiles are created and supervised by the account holder. You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child you add, or that you have their guardian's permission. The app is intended for language learning only and is not a substitute for formal education.

We ask only for a first name and age for each child profile so that we can tailor the learning content.

Paid access costs $3 per child profile per month. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial; we do not charge you during the trial and you can cancel before it ends at no cost.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel, and the amount charged reflects the number of child profiles on your account at the time of renewal. Adding a child during a billing period may result in a prorated charge; removing one reduces the next invoice.

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and access continues until then. Refunds are not automatic, but if something has gone wrong please contact us and we will consider it in good faith and in line with your legal rights.

We may change our prices. If we do, we will tell you before the change applies to your subscription, and you may cancel if you do not wish to continue.

You agree not to:

• share your account with people outside your household, or resell access;
• copy, scrape, bulk-download or redistribute the app's content;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code;
• interfere with the app's security or availability, or attempt to access other people's accounts or data;
• use the translator or other AI features excessively, automatically, or for anything unlawful, abusive or unrelated to learning.

Fair-use limits apply to AI features so the service stays available and affordable for everyone. We may pause AI features on an account that exceeds them.

The app, including its lessons, quizzes, scenarios, dictionary entries, audio, artwork and software, is owned by Panaraim Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your household's own learning while your account is active.

Anything you type into the app, such as text you translate or names you enter, remains yours. You grant us permission to process it only so far as is needed to provide the app to you.

Translations, phonetics and spoken audio may be produced by automated systems. They are provided as a learning aid and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or unnatural. Please do not rely on them for anything important, such as medical, legal or official communication.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running well, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always compatible with every device or browser. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may carry out maintenance that makes the app temporarily unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit or opportunity, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the app during that period.

You agree to reimburse us for reasonable losses we suffer as a result of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the app.

You may stop using the app and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we reasonably need to protect the app or other users. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when features or laws change. We will update the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applying where Panaraim Pty Ltd is registered, and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless consumer law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
